Quest-linked gear

The lure chain is the island chain.

Normal lures widen the catch pool; boss lures, quest items and preserved bodies unlock different encounters. Keep those trigger types separate as you move island to island.

Empty Beer Can, Leech bait, Carrot, Coconut, Tuna, boss trophies and whale-route objects can be progression items. Keep named objects in a separate pile until the intended NPC rejects them.
